Who We Are

Founded in 2009, Tresóna Multimedia, LLC (Tresóna) is a family-owned music copyright licensing agent and SaaS technology developer for music publishers and songwriters.

Tresóna annually issues more than 20,000 print, synchronization, dramatic performance, and remix licenses to scholastic, community, and professional organizations via its proprietary licensing platform, the Licensing Exchange™.

Specializations

SaaS Development

Tresóna has developed proprietary software that enables music copyright owners to digitize and automate their music licensing processes, including licensee information intake, royalty fee calculation, license approval, and license agreement drafting/execution.

The industry’s focus on public performance and mechanical licensing has resulted in a technology gap for the licensing of other valuable rights. Tresóna’s technology was developed to address this gap and has been designed specifically for rights holders to use. Tresóna’s unique rights-holder focus means that its technology meets rights holder’s unique needs, rather than attempting to force rights holders to use a “one-size-fits-all” system.

License Administration

While certain rights holders directly administer license requests via the Tresóna Publisher Portal, Tresóna also employs an administration team that annually issues 10,000+ sync, grand rights, print, and remix licenses to scholastic, community, and professional organizations on behalf of over 4,000 music publishers. Tresóna’s team of 5 now boasts 40+ combined years in aggregate music publishing industry experience.

Market Aggregation

Tresóna specializes in aggregating hard-to-reach markets for music licensing. Tresóna’s aggregation methodology utilizes a mix of partnerships, outreach, and copyright infringement compliance to build markets.

Licensing Solutions

Tresóna identifies and develops unique licensing solutions for niche markets, such as liSynce (www.liSynce.com), the US’s first blanket synchronization license for musical performance and life event videos, and SBN (www.SBNBroadcasting.com), a white label streaming platform for musical performances.

History

Tresóna was founded in 2009 by the Greenburg Family with a mission to simplify complex music licensing processes via SaaS technologies.

Since then, Tresóna has issued over 150,000 music licenses, generating tens of millions in “found money” royalties for rights holders.

Tresóna remains a closely held, family business, and is currently led by President Jann-Michael Greenburg & Vice President Max Greenburg.
